Today we are setting an ‘animal’ challenge.
Challenge one – Can you think of an animal that begins with each of these sounds: c, d, ch, l, e, h, z?
Challenge two – Play a game with your family. Take turns to describe an animal and see who is able to guess the answer first.
Challenge three – Find out about and animal that uses camouflage to help it stay safe.
Today we are introducing the ‘igh’ phoneme/grapheme. We will be focusing on reading words that contain ‘igh’. You will need the day 35 sheet for today’s phonics session.
Today we will be finding different number bonds of 9. How many ways can you make 9? Please have your ladybird template and 9 spots ready for the live session. Can you count to 100? Can you join in with the number bond song? You could also draw part whole models for all the ways to make 9 too.

Today we would like you to focus on snakes. You could draw a picture of a snake and decorate it with a repeating pattern. Maybe you could use shapes to decorate your snake.
We have been listening to lots of rhyming stories over the last few weeks. See if you can pick out any of the rhyming words with Maddison and Felix.
This week we are learning all about 2D shapes. Here is a song you can join in with…
