Wednesday 10th February | No comments yet
Today we are going to be ‘strong’ phoneme kings and queens! We are going to show our muscles and say ‘ng’. Can you guess what sound we are learning today?
Today we will be comparing length. After the lesson please use your play dough to complete the activity. You will need to measure the lengths using a small unit – eg pasta or paper clips.
Please watch the BBC clip all about measurements too.
Please read daily by logging onto http://www.getepic.com/student. Simply enter your teacher code and select your name.
You could play a game on phonics play! Log in for free with the username: jan21. Password: home https://www.phonicsplay.co.uk/ . You should also receive a reading book inside your pack.
Today there is another game to play using shapes…
Can your child identify all these shapes?
Here is some more practise for them…
This clip from Sesame Street is all about triangles but it helps children to recognise that there are different kinds of triangles. Try to find some triangles inside and outside (it may be tricky!)
And finally a rhyming story to listen to…
