The children were very excited about World Maths Day on Wednesday.

We gathered the children’s ideas together about what they wanted to do. I was really impressed by the amount of language the children associated with maths.

Our ideas:

The theme of the day was all around the story ‘Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs’. There’s a video of the story below.

Activities:

Making dinosaurs using 2D shapes:

What else have we been doing?

Making Mother’s Day cards and learning what to write in a card:

Learning how to dance to ‘The Macerena’:

We hope you have a great weekend.
