Aren’t we Lucky!

Tuesday 11th July | 3 comments

The Reception children had a fantastic day on Friday staying at Farsley Farfield! Instead of going on a trip we decided to make use of the fantastic facilities we have in our own backyard. The children were outside all day taking part in a variety of activities.

Mrs Puddiphatt’s son brought his reptiles in for the children to experience. Some liked feeling the snakes but others didn’t!

We spent most of the time outside and the children got the opportunity to make dens. It really challenged them to do some problem solving which some children relished. We also collected natural materials to make sticky boards and then made some dream-catchers which also proved quite challenging!

An exciting day wouldn’t be complete without a picnic so that is exactly what we did.

What a lovely day!

Patrick had a great day and hasn’t stopped talking about the snakes and the chameleon. Thank you!

Holly loved her school trip at school and told us all about her day. I think a certain big sister would have liked to join her too. Another tick in the fantastic school box – well done everybody.
