Happy New Year to all. We hope you had a lovely two weeks and the children are refreshed and ready to start school again.

Be good citizen

Reception have started the first week of half term with a trip to Pudsey Police Station. We were shown around the station and were able to explore the Police vans and cars. The Police Officers made us very welcome at the station.

The children learnt about how to be a good citizen and also found out about what the Police do to help our community. They have also learnt to ring 999 in an emergency.

Some of the adults had been misbehaving and were arrested! The children had to pretend to be Police Officers and  interviewed the adults. This week, the children are designing a Police area which will be in RF’s classroom. I’m sure the children will have lots of fun pretending to be Police Officers in there, especially as they have now visited a real one!
