Tour de France comes to Nursery

This week the children have been learning about the Tour de France. They all know it is a very big cycle race which is being held near us very shortly. See if they can tell you about it. They heard all about the different coloured jerseys the winners get and should be able to tell you all about the yellow, white, green and polka dot jerseys. They have all made their own jerseys which are on display in Nursery as bunting. Try to have a look at all the colourful jerseys covered with collage. More Tour de France activities to follow before the race.
Don’t forget it is our trip to Hesketh Farm on Thursday 26th June. You should all have received a sheet with information about the day.

Nathan was really excited to tell us about the different coloured jerseys worn during The Tour de France (especially the king of the mountain!). We are all looking forward to watching The Grand Depart on 5th July.
