The children had a super party day yesterday. The day started with making our own party hats. We played musical statues, musical bumps and pass the parcel. We then all enjoyed a feast of food followed by a visit from Santa. The children sang him some songs and asked lots of questions!

Thank you to all the parents who came to one of our stay and stick sessions. It was really lovely to see children busy cutting and sticking their photo frame. Hopefully you will love the finished product, it will be making its way to you this week.

What a lovely time we had on Wednesday at Abbey House Museum. The children had fun dressing up in different outfits and playing with the puppets. There were Christmas books to share with the adults and then a sparkly craft activity. The best thing of all was when the children met Father Christmas and were lucky enough to be given a present. All the children behaved beautifully and all said thank you for their gift.

We have been very busy in Nursery over the last few weeks. We have been learning all the songs for our concert ‘The Lazy Sheep’. We have one performance left on Thursday 7th December at 2pm – this will give the children who attend in an afternoon and all day Thursday, Friday the opportunity to perform on stage.
Stay and Stick
Don’t forget this week (5th-8th Dec) we are running some stay and stick sessions. This will enable you to create a calendar with your child. The sessions are all drop in – don’t worry if you can’t make it, as all the children will still make one!
The session times are: Tuesday 12.30-1.30, Wednesday 8.45-10 & 12.30-1.30, Thursday 8.45-10 and Friday 8.45-10 & 12.30-1.30.
All the children will have their Christmas party on Wednesday 14th December. Children are welcome to come to school in party clothes that day. Letters asking for small contributions of food will be sent out today.
We have a very exciting 2 weeks ahead; we hope you do too.
