What a lovely day we have had!

The weather was perfect and the children had a wonderful time learning about growing and seeing all the animals at the farm. The children fed the sheep and stroked a chicken. They saw pigs, cows and rabbits. Ask your child what else they saw and what they liked best about the visit.

Great photos, looks like a fab day with perfect weather.
Joshua was looking forward to this visit for so long beforehand (he even just loves the minibuses!) and was very excited to tell us about it after school. He said he really enjoyed feeding the animals and us he fed goats and what he fed them. We love hearing about these brilliant trips and being able to see what they got up to.

The children were very well behaved on a hot day. I had a lovely time helping out. I learnt that deers’ horns fall off each year and then they eat them, that’s why you never see them on the ground. Erin loved feeding the animals and stroking the lambs. She also spotted a llama!

Kaleb thoroughly enjoyed the trip to the farm. He said he enjoyed feeding the lambs and goats and said he would like to visit again in the school holidays! Another exciting and educational trip for reception students at Farsley Farfield 🙂 and perfect weather :p

I really enjoyed helping out on the trip and seeing all the children at the farm. They did so well in the heat! Vaughn particularly liked the alpacas.

Looks like a lot of fun! It is so lovely how much the children are able to get out of the formal setting of school and have adventures. We love the blog and we like to chat at home about what has been going on…

Jack had such an amazing time on this trip. Jack is desperate for me to go on school trips in the future – next year I am part time and if you need help on the trips I would love to come.
